Sanity is overrated in this "captivating, funny, exciting" fantasy adventure from the New York Times bestselling author of the Scarred Earth Saga (Smexy Books).

Some things never go away, like vile enemies, bad ale, and annoying kin. But I thought I was finished with the one dragon I'd have done anything for: Ã?ibhear the Blue, a big, gorgeous, blue-haired beast who thinks the world belongs to him. The world and, apparently, me.
So if Ã?ibhear wants to play the caring hero and travel into the most forsaken of Gods forsaken lands to protect the one woman who doesn't need itâ??namely meâ??I'll let him. Because while I'm trying to fulfill a ridiculous quest for a pushy god, I'm going to draw this overconfident warlord much too close, rekindle his fires, and enjoy every minute of his delicious defeat . . .

Praise for the Dragon Kin Series

"Aiken's patented mix of bloodthirsty action, crazy scenarios and hilarious dialogue have made this series a truly unique pleasure."â??RT Book Reviews (4½ Stars)

"A chest thumping, mead-hall rocking, enemy slaying brawl of a good book."â??All Things Urban Fantasy

"Laugh-out-loud funnyâ??I loved it!"â??Thea Harrison, New York Times bestselling author
"A hot, hot series." â??

Like the last few books, How to Drive a Dragon Crazy has a time skip, the action picking up ten years after the events of the last book. Izzy the Dangerous has spent most of that time fighting in various wars and has achieved the rank of General, while Eibhear has been sent off to join the Berserker dragon division of the Queen's armies - the Mi-runach. Both have grown taller, fiercer and more vicious than before and sparks fly when they come back into contact with one another.

I'm a little conflicted about this one. There was lots of fast paced, action packed plot, amusing lines and scenes and plenty of romance. But. It was Izzy and Eibhear. When I first read the second book, About a Dragon, I couldn't wait for this book. Izzy and Eibhear were adorable and I was totally shipping it. But book four, Last Dragon Standing, had Izzy sleeping with Celyn and their plot was just all downhill from there. Izzy deserves better. Much better. And I never really felt like Eibhear actually redeemed himself from how he acted in the last few books since. Which disappoints me not just for the sake of Izzy who is one of my favourite characters, but also for Eibhear who was one of my favourites. So I didn't love this book. It's still a good book. It's well written and kept me flipping through the pages - but I always felt like it just never reached that next level it would have if I rated the relationship between them.

I did like the further insight into Rhi and the twins. I really hope the next book has more of their journey because they are bloody hilarious. 4 stars, because I just can't give 5. Izzy deserved better. ( )

I have to stop reading these books before bed time. It's perfect because it's some light reading but they are addictive...

I waited and waited for this story! I saw it coming from a mile away, but I couldn't be happier to FINALLY have these two wake up and smell the roses! Eibhear is different than he was in the beginning, but not bad, just different. Izzy is different too. When we finally throw them back together it's electricity for sure. Added to this long awaited coupling, we've got the drama that follows this dragon family around. We've got gods tampering in their lives, witches thinking they rule all, long lost family comes into play, and of course war. I was enthralled all the way through. Now I am bummed, as I have to WAIT for the publication of book 7 in this fantastic series. ( )

Enjoyable paranormal story with lots of humor and an especially exciting ending. I've been looking forward to Eibhear and Izzy romance which doesn't disappoint and it's fun to re-visit previous characters in the series. Dragon shifter Eibhear is sent to bring General Izzy home to their family. ( )
