This is an advanced and durable book on tatting. The author assumes the readere already knows the techniques for basic tatting. This book han detailed discussions and descriptions on how to get a desired affect from a previously known technique when it does not come out quite right. There is a discussion of "when and why" of techniques as well. There is even a section on two-sided tatting.

The cover and binding are very durable. ( )
