i've read 320pgs. this book is about the life of NBA player Sebastian Telfair's journey to the NBA. Sebastian as a child, was known as one of the top prospectives to enter the league. He attended many national basketball camps sponsored by many famous companies, such as nike and addidas, only the top teen basketball players were able to attend, and sebastian was continuously one of the top players in the camp. With pressure building up, he felt that by him making it to the NBA was the only was the only way to help his family living in the ghetto in New York. because of too much pressure from sebastian's coach, this mother decided to fire the private coach, this was a tough decision because of the fact that this was one of the most popular coaches. in the end however sebastian was selected in the draft, and made it to the NBA. i enjoyed this book, because i could imagine the situation, and i wanted to keep reading.
