Dear lord, this was RIFE with similes on the first 6 or so pages and as a result I had no idea what I was reading about or who this main character was. Totally overwritten. I think I'm going to have to come back to it as at the moment it's a total DNF. Erk. ( )

A great summer read! It's witty and sexy, and it'll make you crave booze and food. Oh, to have rich relatives in France! ( )

It took me awhile to finish reading, it is a thick book indeed. Many colorful charaters with their own ideosyncracy, funny at time and plenty of fun. It was a wonderful read for me. ( )

This is the book that introduces us to Tash, her mad family and to Hugo; the snob shes always had a crush on. Its a perfect book for the beach, bath or bed. Guarenteed to lift your spirts, check out the sequel too, which introduces more mad characters and is equally fun. ( )
