Entertaining rhymes tell the story of a day on the farm. Great illustrations. ( )

The artwork far outshines the text in this book, although the poem that the book is based upon is a sweet description of the activities and sounds that happen during a day on the farm

short rhyming text - good read aloud. historical fiction - pictures show very old timey things. Ask kids to look carefully at what people are doing. ( )
