Very sweet story about a poor shoemaker. While he slept, shoes magically appeared. Soon eveyone wanted the shoemaker to lvesmake them shoes. One night he stayed up to see who was helping him and he spied the elves. He made them little outfits and never saw them again. The shoemaker became very successfully.. This is a good story to retell. There are not that many characters and it is easily memorized. This book was found at Statham Library in the Everybody section.
