None. Should have great appeal for the preschool crowd. Such a charming and creative little story that my 3-year-old daughter loves, but it would be nice if there were more to it. Hands down one of my favorite new picture books. It's fun to read aloud, the illustrations are great, and ROBOTS! I really picked this book up for myself. Preschooler is not really into robots one way or another, and I wasn’t sure she’d make any kind of connection. WRONG! We’ve read this story night after night. She loves the way Bot attempts to take care of the “malfunctioned” boy, and we have to take the time to discuss each and every picture. Can’t get much better than that, right? Super sweet story. We are both sold. no reviews | add a review

The robot runs low on charge, so the boy tries to fix it. He tries every home remedy that his mother uses. Then, of course, just as the bot comes to, the boy falls asleep and we get to see the robot home remedies.
It's a cute book and up for a number of awards. But it didn't WOW me like it has other reviewers. It comes down the line after many "something and something" type or "something vs something" books. My favorite of this recent crop is still Shark vs. Train. I didn't think Boy + Bot pushed the envelope as much as it could have. (
