This is an alternate world Planetary story if you like. Here, Bruce Wayne, Diana and Clark Kent take on the role that Planetary does in the mainstream story, and Planetary themselves fulfill the role that The Four do in the mainstream story.

Bruce Wayne in particular is disgusted and horrified about how Planetary have held back the human race, and sets out to do something about it.

Wagner, Snow and the Drummer track an amoral killer to Gotham City, prepared for battle. What they aren't ready for is the Dark Knight. Batman doesn't exist on the same Earth as Planetary, which means the killer has worked in some very strange ways!
