You know,” he said. “Fucking up against a wall really sucks.”
“What?” Evan blinked, trying to put his mind back online.
“There’s no way to get a good angle, and one guy has to do all the work. It’s hard on the knees, too.” Matt curved his hand around Evan’s face and flicked his thumb against Evan’s lips. “Real life isn’t porn, Evan.”

It isn't. Real life certainly is not porn.

Guess what else? This story was certainly not what I expected. Here I thought it was going to be a PWP and I got a competent story.

Fun fact: I used to work in my college library for years. Very quiet, lots of reading time and quiet.

Nothing ever happened to me like what happens to Evan the college librarian. His favorite gay porn star 'Peter Long' aka Matt the English major walks into the library looking for assistance.

(Like if Colby Keller ever walked into any part of my daily life...my brain would melt)

“Do you think he’s a visiting professor?”
“Of what? Sexology?”

Evan knows who Matt is on film but he gets to know Matt the person. And Matt is dorky like him. And the two are adorable with their banter. The writing is solid. And not a porn fest

“How do you want your coffee?”
“Like I like my men -- strong and sweet.”

How cute and geeky is that quote?

But I am pouting. Fucking pouting that this was not expanded!

It's too condensed - I understand this is a Torquere Sip but seriously this should have been a novella, at the very least. The length kills any effect this story could have made. Maybe I think it's a little awesome because of my former library position? *shrugs*

But this story could have been more. It should have been more.

Matt and Evan were not given enough detail. Only the surface was scratched when both men definitely could have said more, done more. Even the lone sex scene read rushed.

Then I look at the quotes and pout all over again. This story could have rocked.
