Dickens and Women

Well-researched examination of DIckens' private life to present a close examination of his relations with women, his views on woman's naure, and the womanly ideal. The first half devotes a chapter to each of the major women in his life. The second part examines the women in his novels and, perhaps, the real-life women who inspired them.
