71. Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot by Patricia C. ... Yeah, it was the Executor, he just had that one detail (crashing into another ship) wrong. The book we were looking for is Heir to the Empire, and the paragraph he was remembering is on page 3. It's actually Pellaeon thinking in Heir to the Empire.
"Even after five years Pallaeon couldn't help but wince at the memory of that image; the Executor, out of control .... The loss of the ship itself had been bad enough; but the fact that it was the Executor had made it far ... ... Perry, set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi was really well done and a great read. Speaking of which
Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn was fabulous.
Apparently, I read a lot more fantasy than I do science fiction. I never really realized that.

I really like these. The ... ... phenomenon didn't really kick off until Lucas opened up Star Wars to tie-ins after the success of Timothy Zahn's trilogy Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command in the early 1990s.
A publisher in the UK tried publishing a book by Alistair McLean some years after ... The Making of Star Wars: The Definitive Story Behind the Original Film (Star Wars) is on my TBR pile, but I haven't started it yet. Little Princess

I really like these books. I recently re-watched the original Star Wars trilogy (sans additions) and I generally feel like reading these books ... ... to some old favorites for a while. I recently had the urge to reread Timothy Zahn's Star Wars trilogy, so I picked up Heir to the Empire.
I need to get the new books back from my dad soon so I can reread the whole series at once. @sithlord3737: By episodes 7-9, do you mean the Thrawn Trilogy? Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command? These aren't offically ep 7-9, and last I bothered to look, Lucas was very unsure about what (if anything) ep 7 would be. I'm a fan of the original trilogy mainly, episode III was good too, and I just started reading Heir to the Empire, which is entertaining so far; I'm definitely imagining the characters from the original movies as I read. I miss Darth Vader though.
I also borrowed The Essential New Chronology ...
