All real Romeo and Juliet drama, this series is a constant roller coaster, keeping you on your toes constantly. It is the story of a mother and her daughter within the series of three novels set in Savannah around the time of the Civil war. It is also combined with similarities of Cinderella, hence the wicked stepmother/grandmother. It is difficult to put this book down, I don't really want to tell much of the story because it will ruin it for anyone interested in reading in and I highly recommend it, it is well written in the respect that it didn't waist your time with a log of detail description of things of no real interest to the story, only what you needed to know.
