Good idea – starts well with boy Huw getting almost hit by a car and rescued by the strange man who lives on Belin’s Hill; a man haunted by the curse of a witch that means that he and all his descendants will die terribly. Huw & his sister have just lost their parents in a train wreck and are now living with their cousin’s family. End is stupid (And it was all a dream …but not quite…)p.11-12 about Huw’s dream of the train wreck now has something else tangled up in it.
