and I had to replace my copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because my friend lost it in Florida :(
Mind you, this is about a ... I just finished Infoquake! (I too had problems getting it after "winning" an early reviewer copy, but I emailed the publisher and got it in the mail a few weeks later.) I actually ordered the sequel last night from Amazon.
These are more fantasy than Sci-fi, but I also just finished Last Watch ... Did anyone ever get Infoquake? Anyone in the US? Are any of the reviews posted from ER copies? Currently I'm reading Infoquake by David Louis Edelman. I was supposed to get this through the Early Reviewer program and never did. However, I found it in a local library and decided to have a go at it despite the books "no show".
I can't seem to catch up. I'll likely be too late to have a ... I never did get Infoquake, but I recently was able to check it out of my local library, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore. :-D Interesting that some of July's books might still show up. Infoquake wasn't from Gefen, but it was from July and I'd given up on ever expecting it some time ago. Maybe I should wait until January for a full six months before crossing it off the list! I'm still waiting for Infoquake. Has anyone in the U.S. received this yet? Still no Infoquake here. I noticed in the July book watch thread that one person in the UK posted they got their copy August 1, but I haven't seen anyone in the U.S. post about receiving it.
I note the the company is in the U.K. and I'm starting to wonder if I goofed and requested a book ... #159 Queenofcups,
I haven't gotten Infoquake yet, so there are still a few books missing. I'm not going to worry yet. Has anyone in the U.S. received Infoquake yet? Title: Infoquake
Date Arrived: 2008/08/01
Method of Delivery: Royal Mail
Location Received: Peterborough, UK
Book Format: A format paperback (same as MMPB)

Packaging: Jiffy Bag (oversized and folded over book for extra padding). Yay - I've got Infoquake. On my very first attempt at getting an ER book too. I always enjoy reading new writers (or at least the half decent ones) and I am looking forwards to reviewing this. ... world is going down the tubes.
I have also heard that I am being sent an ARC (via the Early Reviewer programme here) of Infoquake by David Louis Edelman so I am planning to read that when it arrives. Whoohoo! After a couple of dry months, I'm getting Infoquake! Thanks! :D ... Yugoslavia, or the city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Okay, okay, fine. I suppose I'll also answer questions about my novels Infoquake and MultiReal. No, you're not a beauty-obsessed neurotic. On this subject, at least, as I can't speak to your non-cyber personality.
InfoQuake and Mainspring both have jacket art by a currently fashionable SF artist named Stephen Martiniere. One loves or hates his work, all in a body, because every damn ... Infoquake by David Louis Edelman was really better than i expected - i found the telepresence isn't a new idea in a lot of science fiction, but i liked how he managed to give a sense of wonder that i felt was missing and was chock full of ideas and exciting ways technology and business could ... ... to the worldbuilding, and also because I haven't seen so many things with DoubleNames (^_-) since I finished Edelman's Infoquake last month. At least I can say that Edelman was probably trying to /mock/ silly marketing....
