Lumayo Ka nga sa Akin's front can make you judge this book by the cover. Its cover uses a stereotyped Filipino love story pocket-book style which is nothing close to the three stories that will probe readers' laughs, annoyance and, if you're up for it, reflection on the media's influence on film. Its a fun read for young readers. Compared to his first book ABNKKBSNPLAko, Lumayo Ka nga sa Akin provides readers with more humor with the same subtle message that ignorance is wide-spread and very much present among the Filipino masses. His message still clearly probes the reader with the right amount of humor if he or she can be an agent of change despite the powerful influence of media. ( )
