I will add both The Solitaire Mystery and Independent People to Continent TBR. I will look for your views on the latter once you have had a chance to read it. Breezed through Funny in Farsi and pushed through The Solitaire Mystery. I'm not 100% sure I liked either one enough to ever consider re-reading. The Solitaire Mystery has layers and layers that are very thought-provoking. The Solitaire Mystery was very strange and creative and thought-provoking.
Now on to Independent People for December's bookclub meeting. I'm reading The Solitaire Mystery by Jostein Gaarder and it's good but not stunning. Next is Independent People by Halldor Laxness for my December bookclub meeting. I just started The Solitaire Mystery by Jostein Gaarder last night and am really enjoying it.
