An interesting read but much too much detail on the coverage of Watergate. Perhaps if you did not live through it as I did you would find the detail interesting. I think that Bradlee got lucky with Watergate which made him. True he ran with the ball and allowed Woodstein to run with it. I did not feel as sympathetic to him as all the commentary on what a great guy he was etc. He seemed pretty egocentric to me. But the book is worth a detour, albeit a long one. ( )
