Good entry, more intrigue than action. Despite being without a ship for most of the book, Captain Nathan manages to be at several important sea battles, including the Battle of the Nile. Lots of historical skeins, people, places, battles are plumbed and linked with a good story line. Another book about the good Captain in India would be welcome. ( )
