I collect everything and this book is just so enjoyable to sit and look at. To see all the names listed and to just be in awe of anyone with one of these signatures. For all baseball fanatics and autograph hounds alike. I think you will love this book as much as I do. ( )

Those interested in collecting baseball signatures, especially those of the Hall of Famers will get much use out of the book. Keurajian begins with types of media people save, (bats, baseballs, cards, etc) and then shows common signs of forged autographs. The chapter most useful is sample signatures of hall of famers, sometimes more than one sample. Along with the visual is a short paragraph describing what to look for (large flowing easy to read letters, many autographs out there.) A great first step in looking to see if a signature is the real McCoy. ( )

This book is overwhelmingly thorough to an interested amateur collector , or this Mother of one. The subject of Hall of Famers is covered extensively with a great deal of very specific information on the nuances of determining authentic signatures for this very large pool of the most exalted baseball players. With time and determination, key knowledge can be obtained for the careful collector. It is truly mindboggling how Keurajian has been able to convey the science of studying the scrawls, tags, and script of these athletes. A valuable tool for those in need of such; be it the one time purchase of a prized possession or the on-going and consuming habit/profession of a true Baseball fanatic. Oh, wait. Aren't we all? ( )

Obviously, this is a book for baseball autograph collectors. I am not a collector myself, but as a baseball fan I still found it very interesting. It contains a great array of reproduction autographs and the lessons about forgeries ,etc is quite interesting. ( )

This book shares a good collection of autograph examples. The author definitely is skeptical of most autographs out there and advises you to expect forgeries. One definite highlight of the book is the recent value and auction prices. You're able to get a clear idea of the value of the autography, provided it's authentic. ( )
