"Liguria exudes the fragrances of my childhood. My memories mingle with the smell of the sea and the woods, rosemary and sage, not to mention mothballs and ethyl alcohol. This aromatic treasure, embedded in my memory, rises to the surface every time these smells once again tease my senses. This is where the idea of creating this cookbook came from - a book enriched with stories and illustrations, of recipes from my nonna, the mother of my father, to preserve the souvenirs linked with the aromas and tastes of her dishes. Here you will find simple and tasty recipes, those which became familiar to me in the course of everyday life with my Italian family, as well as more elaborate recipes for festive occasions."
