We are now in the third millennium or 3000 years after the birth of Jesus Christ. Life can be hazardous. There will be challeges and perilous times. Along with many opportunities in the Third Millennium, you will also face the greatest challenges of your life- challenges so great that your very survival may be at stake. There will be renewed anxieties about nuclear, biological, chemical, and technological attacks along with new deadly diseases, global economic instability, worldwide stortages of food, water and natural resources. You will need a plan and a prayer. the prayer is first- thinkof a prayer for the world and that you may follow Jesus as you live your life. Or use the Rescue Prayer on page 3. Colossians 1:13 says, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son."The signs may say danger all around you but you will have Colssians 1:13 with you and if you believe Jesus is the purpose of your life you will be with him as this verse says. You can bee rescued and once you have been rescued, you will want to get to know the One who rescued you. You can live in the Rescue Zoneand be secure in God's plan for the World. You can God by rescuing others and bringing them out of the Danger Zone and the Ultimate Rescue will be you when you have learned all the lessons God wants you to learn. ( )
