Unique and it's own genre, this book takes place in the 60's and 70's and tells the tale of Liza, who falls in love with her cousin, Dace.
Dace then goes to prison for murder, and ends up being involved in the Canadian prison riots.
This book is Karen Black's debut and is exceptionally well done!
Well written, and very interesting, this book will have you turning the pages as fast as you can to see what is going on.
There is a little bit of violence, but it is about prison riots. It is also about Liza and Dace, and will be on your mind for a long time after you finish reading this book.
Superb ending!! ( )
