Gorgeous eye candy. If you enjoy Wabi Sabi style or rustic industrial or environments that do not look like a designer stepped foot in it, then this book is for you. Lovely mushroom browns, creams, greys grace the pages. (I am going to live on page 102, thank you). Hans visits the beautiful homes of fellow artists in Europe (mostly France) and the photographs are lush and take up an entire page when they need to. The prose is just right. Chapters touch on plants, linens, the old, the forgotten....... ( )
