This is the latest of Ian Peaty's themed industrial railway books.Previous ones I am aware of are Brewery Railways and one whose title escapes me,about Hanson Group Quarries with rail facilities.Mountsorrell sounded interesting, but driving up the A6 through it was loud, dusty and crowded with HGVs.This book gives a history of the works, and the different railway layouts over the years, and some very unusual locomotives for this country.I found it a very interesting book on a place I had visited several times, but still learnt much.I recommend it.
