This book could be used in a poetry unit to use as examples of short poems - and a play on words. Not to be used with younger children and they will not get the humor - more appropriate for middle and high school. ( )

This book is a very funny book making light of animals demises. The illustrations are all dark and coincides with death. I would use this in an English class when writing poems are understanding the usage of line breaks. ( )

Last Laughs: Animal Epitaphs is a collection of poems detailing many different animals epitaphs. Each animal is remembered in a hilarious way that is accompanied by an illustration of their death. Although quite morbid at times it can be very hilarious. ( )
