I love this version of this story. I think it's great for elementary because it introduces a classic novel in a "kid-friendly" format. This book is good for teaching about imagination and for teaching about symbolism. ( )

This is a classic. While the story was written by someone who was suspected to be on drugs, it still brings up good memories from when I first read it as a kid. It made me think differently and encouraged me to use my imagination. I think this book is good for teaching kids that things are not always what they seem because in the end Alice realizes that some of the things she saw in her dream were connected to real life in a way.
