As I glaced through this I wondered why Charlie Russell was not included. The second paragraph of the introduction shows that Mr. Dykes defers to Frederic Renner and Karl Yost as the best bibliography of Russell's work and it was published only a few years before this book. I find it interesting that he does include some N. C. Wyeth works and that does make sense based on the nature of his work for Scribners over the years.
