Work detailsThe Amazing Spider-Man: Ends of the Earth by Dan Slott
None. Doctor Octopus, with mere weeks left to live, has initiated a plan to send 200 special lenses into orbit, claiming they will reverse global warming. Spider-Man, of course, suspects something more sinister, and enlists the aid of Black Widow, Silver Sable and several others of Earth's heroes to stop Ock's plan. But Ock has convinced the United Nations and most of Earth that he is on the level, and so Spidey must contend not only against Ock and his minions, but the pulse of the public. Interesting story, with Spidey in an unaccustomed role as the leader of a struggle to save humanity in a very visible way. We also see that Silver Sable does not find him such a doofus after all.
