One kiss could have changed Abby's life, but when it didn't happen, she ran. Jack was everything to her and when he didn't respond, Abby couldn't bear it. Everything about that night--leaning in close to his face, feeling the night breeze teasing her hair, the way his scent filled her head--was burned vividly into her mind, including the moment when Jack pulled away. There was no kiss. Abby was wrong. She was wrong about him, wrong about them.… (more)

I loved Jack, I loved Abby, I loved their story. I did not love the surrounding story. The whole idea of her being a preacher gone Robin Hood was just unbelievable. There was nothing about her that made me convinced she was a preacher. Nothing. I think that the book could have been longer and delved further into the characters and why they became the people they were. That would have made it much more believable. It had a lot of potential, because the love between Jack and Abby was awesome...it just didn't go all the way. ( )

This is a Review Based on Both Scandalous and Scandalous 2 . I will post the same thing in Scandalous also .

This was a Good series , Although I thought it was kinda fast paced , I did enjoy it . I think that certain areas could of been a little more detailed. There was alot of jumping from one ordeal to the next right away

I LOVED Jack and Abby. The connection that those two had was undeniable even after 10 yrs of being away from each other . They acted like they had never been away from each other .

The Sex in this book was steamy and HOT .... Like HOT HOT HOT .... ( )

OMG!!!! You will not believe what happens next!!! I love this series. It keeps me engaged and on the edge of my seat. Holly is weaving this complex web around Sean and Avery that is masterful. Now I have to wait until next month to read what happens next... but I am biting my nails here and thinking what now!! Avery is caught in this trap that Miss Black has her in... with no end in sight. I hope Avery will eventually find her happily ever after because if there is someone that deserves it...it's her! Sean has a black cloud of misery following him. Talk about suspense! You must read this series... you will not put it down!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my unbiased and honest review. ( )

When Abby get's back to town and is back in Jack's bubble I can't help but feel that she is where she belongs. Abby's faith is holding her back but it seems she choice to go down her "Churchy" path is because of one boy, Jack. Now she everything falls into place and miscommunications are cleared up and Abby needs to make Jack see that he is worth the fall. Then the "Scandal" happens and all hell breaks loose. Lots of hot steamy sex. Fabulous Ending.

Quotes:

You're not alone, unless you choose to be."

"I see it, Jack. Your muse is back. The thing that gave you passion, tormented you, and haunted you is back."

"You're out of bounds. I can't be the one that makes you fall, Abby. You chose your path, you said your vows, and since that's the life you want, I'll help you keep it." ( )
