I wanted so badly to like this book. It has the makings of a great chick lit story, the protagonist’s glimpse into the lives of the rich and famous that she works for. However, the book read like a high school diary. Had it not been for the content (drugs, sex, etc), I would recommend it as a read for high school girls. As it is, it may appeal to the 18-25 crowd. The author does possess an incredible imagination. I think that had I read this book on audio format I would have enjoyed it more. I just could not get through all the run-on sentences and incorrect grammar. ( )

I won a review copy. It was a bit drawn out at times but overall it was a pretty good book. ( )

I thought the book was good and made for some fun reading. I did feel though it was a little choppy and felt I was lost at time but got right back on track. All in all I would recommend this book and found it fun to read. ( )

"Alter Ego in Chanel" is a roller coaster ride of drug taking, drinking, long working hours, and going out to bars for more drugs and drinks while looking for love and/or lust. If reading about the fast and furious lifestyle appeals to you, you will like this book, otherwise you may be shocked. ( )
