I give five stars to the original English version of this story. The pictures are gorgeous, and the message is one that a lot of adults I know need to hear: that hospitality is not about "keeping score," but about spending time with your friends and guests. I got the English/Spanish bilingual version of this book inside a Cheerios box. The Spanish is a literal translation of the English and does not rhyme or follow a rhythmic pattern as the English does. The translation seems to be a marketing ploy by Cheerios, and detracts somewhat from the reading experience. ( )
