This is 507 pages of fashion love. I learned more about fashion from this book then any other book or magazine I have read about fashion. There are chapters like Rome, and certain sections of NY, but they are really not chapters. 2-3 pages cover the chapter title then the photographer moves on. There are appearances with from the fashion photographer from the NY Times, but the 99% of this book is all about people who go out and go through the day. It was surprising to see that most of the photos were of fellow photographers. This book is priced at $30.00. I would pay much more to have this on my shelf. ( )

In The Sartorialist: Closer, Scott Schuman looks deeper and with great breadth at human style, and the way it is expressed across the world. Always reacting to an inspirational moment, the images in his new book continue to reflect Scott's unique sensibility and vision.
