The idea of a banished angel (well sort of) sentenced to roam eternity hoping to be reunited with her one true love is intriguing. Her long existence has been filled with lifetimes of loss and painful disappointment all while desperately hoping that she will find him again, The One. Then she meets Shane, who is not even close to being her true love but why does it feel so right to be near him? Should she give up hope of ever finding The One, and take a chance with Shane?

"Please Grace, whatever it is that you're going after, please try to find it here in me." Shane.....swooon!!

On to the sequel... ( )

This was an interesting book, I liked all the characters a whole lot. I thought the banter was good, I thought the plot was good.

Really I liked the book a great deal, there were some issues for me though. Most of them really solidified in book 2. I got sick of how judgmental and condemning she was regarding Shane. I got really sick of her calling him "that kind of guy". I understand he was one, but still her refusing to believe a single word he said just bugged me. Also the grammatical errors were pretty horrific. It's very jarring reading along and finding these stumbling blocks of misplaced, and misused, words and phrases. Incorrect pronouns were used all over the place. I saw more than one him instead of he.

But still, over all I really liked the book, and for once I really liked the best friend!!! The best friend actually was a good friend! She wasn't some fucking bimbo putting her bff in dangerous situations or pushing her friend into things that were harmful or just fucking stupid. This is actually the best best-friend character I've read in a while!

Yep, I liked the book! ( )

Holy Moly I am still reeling over this book. You don't really know it's a paranormal romance until mid book. No Hot sex scenes but things are so intense between Grace and Shane you get knots in your stomach! The author really is amazing the way she makes you feel like you are right there with them especially in the bar when they are playing on stage you can't help but feel the fire that burns between Grace and Shane. I will tell you that you will want book 2 handy because the ending well it's a hanger!
Pretty sure I will be up all night reading Saving Grace.

Favorite quote:

"he really was ridiculously beautiful"

"Don't even try, because you might find me smacking the slut out of you in a minute!"

"She is mortal danger to all men. She is beautiful with knowing it, and possesses charms that she's not even aware of."

Ugh, I think I got brain damage from reading this one to the end.

Sorry my friends, I know you loved it and like usual it makes me feel bad to bash it BUT I was so disgusted by this one.

For me, everything about this book screamed dramatic, fake and immature - I still don't know how I sat through it. And if that wasn't enough kept thinking: "Wow, that's the light version of the Fallen series with only minor changes."

I had high hopes but was disappointed very early on and nothing could save this book for me - especially not Grace. I couldn't connect to her at all, like the book itself, she seemed immature, bratty and annoying.

Shane saved this book two stars - what can I say? I'm a sucker for singing, tattoo'd guys.

Onto a serious pet peeve of mine: Please, I'm begging you get this book edited and spell checked. I make mistakes as well but god, I don't publish books and have others spend money on stories littered with grammar and spelling mistakes.

Not even the major cliffhanger could make me even touch the second book.
