This book reminded me of the Billionaires and Babies series by Harlequin which I am a fan of. Timing is Everything was a nice story with romance, chemistry between the main characters, a baby, a daddy, friends and laughter. It had plot development, characters that you could feel a kinship to, nice closure and a happily ever after – even if it took to the last page to get it. All of this was packed into so few pages. I would have loved this book to have had at least a few more chapters since certain aspects of the story were only alluded to i.e. Mandy’s ex.

This author was able to pull off an interesting book in only 47 pages where others can’t. I have not read books by Becraft before but look forward to doing so with her contemporary novels. She also writes paranormals for those interested in that genre.

Sure she showed the little one affection and took care of her needs, but the last thing Mandy needed to do was fall in love with a child she had no hope of calling her own. Knowing her heart would never be able to take the strain of leaving when her short time here was over, Mandy tried to be loving yet remain distant… ( )
