Fun and weird. Seriously overpopulated with old white dudes (in fact, I don't remember a single panel in all 5 issues with a woman or PoC...) but the story is fun at least... ( )

Very interesting concept, the narrative bounces back and forth and is a little confusing but compelling enough for me to read the next volume. ( )

I picked this off the shelf thinking it was a historical retelling of the Manhattan Project, but instead it is an alternate history, where the MP scientists are evil geniuses and the science is way beyond what was feasible at the time. Not my genre. ( )

I think I've officially learned to stay away from Hickman-penned stories. I find he tends to unnecessarily draw shit out, and have these reveals that are just...meh.

In fact, the entire story was, for me, just meh. And Pitarra's art? The best I can say about it is that it looks like he apprenticed on animating the Rugrats cartoon series ...and that's not a compliment.

Glad I only bought the first volume, won't be buying more. ( )
