A fairytale type story about a Prince named Aime and a Warrior of the Deep, Seree. Seree takes on the curse that his younger sister Lana agreed to. Time is running out to break the curse. If Seree doesn't kill the young prince, Seree himself will die.

I couldn't get into this story as much as I wanted. Probably because it was very short and events happened too quickly. I'm also wondering if Aime and Seree are related considering the information that Aime provided Seree about his grandmother.

If you like merpeople, fairytales and quick reads, you'll like this. ( )

Really liked this story. Great turmoil within Seree about what he wants versus what he thinks he is required to do. Loved his interaction with the king at the end. Great ending. ( )

This took me right back to my childhood love of fairytails! ;) Well...except for the wee morsel of adult entertainment goodness! ( )

Book description
Dear Author,
My sister has always been of the romantic sort. She fell in love with a prince and made a deal with the sea witch that she could make him fall in love with her as well. But it's been a month and so far she has failed. Unable to see her broken hearted and knowing that she would soon be claimed by the sea witch, the three eldest sisters presented her with a knife to kill him.

She loves him too much to do so and now the task falls to me. If I can kill the prince, my sister will be safe to mend her broken heart. And what does it matter, he is only human. The human that rejected my sister and put her in the situation.

But I'm beginning to realize that the prince is far more than simply human to me. And I think I'm losing my heart to him as well.

This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group's "Love is Always Write" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.
