The love interest in this was really weird and the whole story quite quirky and I loved every moment right down to the last few lines which left me very happy and laughing. Sweet story that is a little different and slightly less predictable. I highly recommend it. ( )

Brandon, twenty seven years old, self centred, egotistical, only interested in one night stands, not concerned about his partner, after all it should be satisfaction enough that Brandon has deigned to date him, all Brandon seems interested in is notching up more conquests, but he meets his match when he dates a gorgeous young guy, twenty three year old Enigma. Small slim and beautiful, Enigma is just that, an enigma. Instead of falling at Brandon's feet he walks away on their first date, making Brandon all the more determined to bed him. But it is not as easy a task as it seems, and the more Enigma resists the more determined Brandon becomes until he cannot concentrate on anything else.

Left of Centre is a short (46 pages), very well written, deliciously funny, romantic, sexy and very touching story. Before Brandon can achieve his goal he needs to be brought down a peg or two, that it takes the rather screwy, left of centre Enigma to do it makes it all the more appealing, especially when we learn what it is that makes Enigma the way he is, and despite which Brandon still falls for him and is determined to break all his old bad habits to make Enigma his own. Book description
When self-confessed player Brandon Faulkner arranges to meet three different Goth guys over the course of one weekend, he isn’t expecting to meet someone like ‘Enigma’.

Enigma isn’t like anyone Brandon’s met before. He’s unpredictable, volatile and… well, downright weird! To make matters worse, the gorgeous Enigma isn’t at all impressed with Brandon and is unafraid to crush the man’s ego at every opportunity.

For the first time in his life, Brandon has to work hard to win the guy. Will Brandon agree to Enigma’s left of center, bizarre requests, or is the player about to get played? [Scarlet Tie]
