My Big Animal Book is a colorful photo book with different kinds of animals featured on different blocks of color with simple text. For example, there is a spread with pets, one with farm animals, one with birds, etc. Each page asks a question pertaining to an animal on that page. I have found that instead of reading the text, it is fun to simply ask “Where is the kitten? What sound does a kitten make?” This shows that there are many different ways to look at this book, and it is fun for both reader and listener. This is good book for young children who are learning their animals and colors. I would recommend this book for my library (medium public library). ( )

This book is a very interesting book for little ones. I have a little boy that just turned two and he loves it! He has learned all the animals in the book and can tell you what each one is. It breaks the animals up into categories. It is very colorful and grabs the child's attention with big pictures.

This book is full of large, eye-catching photographs. Each page is a new surprise, and my little ones loved to point out their favorites and make animal sounds. Newborn through three (3) years. ( )
