This was a very short story (10-12 pages) in Greek about a detective who has to find why a certain part of his client's mansion is haunted. The story was fun and easy to read and while simple, I failed to guess the secret behind the haunted towers myself. There were subtle touches of humor which made it all the more enjoyable and added an interesting touch and while very short, I did manage to like Max (the detective) in those few pages and I wish I could know him better. On the other hand, I wish there was a longer explanation about why the ghosts haunted the towers. Also sometimes, the resonance of a sentence seemed a little off and had me reading it twice to be sure I got the meaning right. I can't know if that's a problem of the translation or exists in the original text as well. It just seemed to me that the story and/or translation needed a little more fine tuning to get the rythm right.Still a nice story and I'd gladly give a try to a longer one in the same style. Note: the ePub had problems displaying the greek letters correctly; all accented letters were replaced with questionmarks both in my PC and eReader. The pdf version works without a glitch though. Thanks to the author for giving me the chance to read this, in exchange for an honest review. ( )
