This is a typical morality play, proving that a guilty conscience is a very powerful tool. It could have used better character development, and bits of the story are a tad far-fetched. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This book really makes one think about how far one would go to protect family and friends. What would you be willing to do and do you think you could live with the consequences? Have you really even thought of all of them? What kind of threat (if any) to friends or family would make you consider murder? Not only that but accepting the consequences of that action should you get caught? I had a few issues with the book, mostly I think the author was putting himself too much in place of the main character. Overall I think it was well written and while enjoyed isn't the right word for the subject matter I think it was worth the time spent. no reviews | add a review
