A number of the poems are hilarious and I could almost believe they were written by my cat. Many of the other poems were mediocre. Still, a fun little book. ( )

A short book of poems from the cats' point of view. Best read aloud, with feeling, to friends -- somehow the poems are funnier in company. Afterwards, it might be time to spread the laughter further afield. We had our half hour of fun and passed the book on to delight other cats' people. ( )

If you're only going to receive one book for Christmas, it had better be a good one. Funny, with cats in is a good bet. Thanks, Sweetie. ( )

from my library's catalog: Poems penned by cats reveal their every desire, their every conflict, and their every moment of neurotic genius. my thoughts: My cousins just bought me this book for Christmas. I literally sat on the couch at my Aunt's house and finished the book in one sitting. We were all laughing hysterically at the antics in the poems. So many of them reminded us of stunts our cats have pulled in the past. My favorite poem is a haiku called Sushi". My cat has done this more times than I care to admit to: Did you really think
That you could hide fish in rice?
Oh, the green paste burns! (The green paste doesn't look so hot in the litter box either to be honest). Thanks, girls, I will definitely be re-reading this one!" ( )

This is a really cute book of poems written by cats, or perhaps by a human who really knows cats! There are four chapters dividing the subject matter into family, work, play, and existence, as well as some cute pictures of cats and kittens. I received this as a gift and recommend giving it to your cat-loving friends. ( )
