The Journal of Contemporary Heathen Thought is a publication that seeks to foster the development and promulgation of philosophical inquiry and thought within the Heathen community. We hope to reach beyond the historical overviews, introductions, mythographical expositions, and presentations of practices and rituals that have comprised the bulk of specifically Heathen publications thus far. Our aim is to encourage the expansion of Heathen thought into the domains of theology, philosophy, sociology, psychology and other disciplines that have yet to be thoroughly examined by Heathenry or any other form of European polytheism. We at The Journal of Contemporary Heathen Thought feel that it is high time serious inquiries move beyond the what and into the why of both the theory and practice of Heathenry. Volume two's contents include: Guido von List's "On the German Priesthood of Wuotan" Friedrich Bernhard Marby's "The Origins of Matter" Þorbert Línleáh's "Huuetstêneslioth" Stephen M. Borthwick's "The Natural Order of the Ensouled Folk" and "Against the Primitivists" Christopher A. Plaisance's "The Emergent Hierarchy" Kris Stevenson's "Hero, Anti-Hero, Villain" Zacrey Monte Hansen's "Entropy Personified" Stephen Pollington's "The Horned Man" Interviews with Stefn Thorsman and Ed LeBouthillier, Bron Taylor, and John Michael Greer A selection of book reviews.
