Devised as a reaction to the 'Wild cards' shared-universe collections, this is a particularly satirical British take on the superhero. In this collection, the superheroes' talents are unlikely and not all that talented - the ability to teleport liquids from container A to container B, or the ability to transform oneself into a giant frog, or (in the case of Jack Yeovil/Kim Newman's 'Pitbull Brittan') to work oneself into such a rage that one becomes a mass of enraged, engorged erectile tissue. Hmm, yes.... ( )
