Kendrick looks at the development of the horror genre from its origins in the Graveyard Poets and the Gothic "Castle of Otranto" to the days of mid-80s horror cinema. It's a pretty enlightening look; Kendrick refuses to romanticize the horror "tradition," but even a horror fan will enjoy his sober take on its development. ( ) no reviews | add a review
