The much-anticipated return of a much-beloved TNG character is the main reason why you want to read this book. Mack has created a very interesting way to achieve this in Book 1. Most of the book is written from Noonian Soong's perspective, which was actually really interesting. At first I thought I wouldn't like it, but Mack does it (as one would imagine) really, really well. ( )

A thriller, about the origins of all soong type androids, multiple kidnappings, the desperation of a father to give his son life. A story of mystery and espionage that will keep you thrilled to the end. ( )
