Akhenaten, King of Egypt (original 1988; edition 1988)

This is one of the primary books on Akhenaten, written by a man who clearly loved the Amarna Period. Even though it is slightly dated, it is still eminently readable. It brings Akhenaten and his life and times into stark relief. ( )

I bought this really cheap from my local library when they moved to their new location and sold a ton of books. I love egypt.
