This is an interesting book about a young girl named Scree. She had loss her mother at a very young age and had to take care of herself basicly. Then her brother moves in with his baby girl and makes Scree raise her. She fell in love very soon after taking care of the baby as if it was her own. Scree had a very hard life with no childhood of her own and expected to take care of her family.
I started this book and kept reading until the end wanting to know just what happens to Scree. Pick your book up today and find out, worth the read. Hat's off to Kristi!!! ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0615683894, Paperback)

After an unfortunate incident on a Maine apple orchard, precocious teen Scree is left with a father she’s not sure is hers, a never-ending list of chores and her flaky brother’s baby, who she is expected to raise. In a noble move to save the child from an existence like her own, Scree flees to a glitzy resort teeming with young men just ripe for the picking. But even as life with baby becomes all she’d dreamed, Dali-esque visions begin to leach through the gold paint… Bad Apple is a dark, surreal ride that proves not all things in an orchard are safe to pick.
