I consider myself to be a fairly moderate, middle of the road kind of guy, and I know that Mailer can be pretty far left, but I still liked it. It's just great how Mailer and the 'Greatest Generation' are juxtaposed against his son John and what I would consider my generation, all through a simple conservation between father and son. I suppose the reason I liked it so much is that I have often considered how my generation compares to those of the past. ( )no reviews | add a review
