In this story, the wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff at the White House is brutally murdered. This hits close to home with Sam and Nick because they have socialized with the couple and Nick knows them well. As the case unfolds, Sam finds that Victoria isn't who her husband thought she was and must chase against time to find the couple's daughter who was abducted in the attack. In the meantime, Nick's political career is heating up as he is asked to give the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention. As in the other books in the series, many of the supporting characters continue their stories throughout the series. This is another good entry in the Fatal Series, and I'm looking forward to the next book. no reviews | add a review
