Loading... The Blue Mountain (1988)by Meir Shalev
קצת מעיק ומורכב, אבל בסך הכל ספר מצוין ( )I read this 4 or 5 years ago when a friend from Israel included it in a holiday exchange box our online bookgroup did. I loved it. One of the most genuine magical realism books. Everyone should read this book. Breathtaking...a novel so wacky, so inventive, so peppered with tall tales and flights of magical realism, so good at blending myth and earthly human emotion that it deserves mention in the same breath with Marquez 's One Hundred Years Of Solitude." The beginning was difficult to get through, not sure if it was because of the translation, but by the end, I really enjoyed the book. no reviews | add a review
